LULAC Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by Urging Latinos to Register to Vote
Washington, D.C. — LULAC celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by urging Latinos to register to vote. Hispanic Heritage Month is a time when our nation reflects on the contributions Hispanics have made to our history and culture. As the nation’s oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization, LULAC recognizes the achievements of those Hispanic Americans who have helped make this country a land of opportunity.
LULAC again joins the Hispanic Heritage Month of Action campaign to encourage the Latino community to take action this month and register to vote. As part of this campaign, LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha Jr. encourages you to register to vote and take your family and friends to the polls on Election Day.
